The class is held at Clavo Cellars in downtown Templeton. Blind tasting, food pairings and all the major wine regions around the world will be covered. Certified sommelier Ali Rush Carscaden teaches the class and has taught at Cal Poly.

15c University July 5th
The 15c University begins again in July. Sign up now—it always sells out. The University is a 6-week course on wines from around the world. It covers blind tasting, food pairings, and all the major wine regions around the world. The class is mirrored after college level curriculum as well as the WSET study guide and the court of master sommeliers.
15c Monthly Wine Club
2 bottles every month for $25! Each month Ali Rush Carscaden, Sommelier & Owner will select 2 wines from a specific region around the world. She will write up a description on the wines, recommend food to pair with it and provide information on the region. It’s like a mini 15c university class that you can enjoy at home. You may choose between a red and a white bottle or 2 red wines or 2 white wines.
Once you are a part of the 15c wine club you will receive a reward card that earns you 10% back on all your wine purchases!

$350 per person. The 15c University offers training on how to blind taste and analyze different components in wine.
All the major wine regions around the world are discussed and representative wines will be tasted while discussing where it comes from and why it tastes the way it does. Food pairings, serving techniques and history are also discussed. It is a great introductory course on wines from around the world as well as helps to prepare students to go on and take introductory WSET or Court of Master Sommelier exams.

Advanced Sommelier training
Starting at 6pm every Saturday night is a drop in sommelier training. We will pick a different theme each Saturday and taste as well as discuss as a group. There are no reservations needed, drop-ins welcome.
